Exciting news from the intersection of observability innovation and research excellence! The Software Campus Alumni e.V. is proud to announce a partnership with Observe Switzerland, the Zurich-based subsidiary of Observe Inc., a US leader in AI-powered observability at scale. As a supporting member of Software Campus Alumni e.V., Observe makes an important contribution an important contribution to financing the non-profit work of the association.

Observe ingests Open Telemetry data into a Snowflake-based streaming data lake, structures it as a knowledge graph that maps relationships between your services and infrastructure, and provides AI-assisted troubleshooting to help you correlate issues across logs, metrics, and traces faster.

The managing director of Observe Switzerland Matthias Rost was himself an alumnus of the association and has actively supported the association since 2019. Over the course of his career, he has worked with 4 alumni at both SAP and at Oberve, Inc. In his own words:

“The Software Campus has given me unique opportunities to shape my leadership profile. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I made, for having had the opportunity to build my own small research group based on the funding. I can’t stress enough how important funding projects like the Software Campus are to grow the IT leaders of tomorrow.

The Software Campus Alumni association gives me the opportunity to stay in close contact with current and previous Software Campus members, to exchange ideas, to learn and to grow, together. With our sponsorship we want to give back to the Software Campus community and enable more exchange and networking going forward.”
